FROM SAN CANDIDO TO VAL VISDENDE

The departure takes place from the square Piazza del Magistrat and immediately outside the village take the forest road that goes up to Monte Elmo, from here you continue to climb on well-beaten paths following the signs for the Sillianer Hutte. After passing the latter, continue on the ridge path going up to the Cima di Pontegrotta in the direction of the Oberstansersee Hutte. From here go up the Rosskoff Torlfork and then descend on a rather steep path up to the valley floor and then continue up the slope towards the Mittersattel fork, after which you reach the Filmor Hutte.
From here follow the signs for Porze Hutte, the trail descends once again to the valley floor and then back up to the Heretriegel pass and from here with a descent to reach the Porze Hutte. The last climb of the day takes us into Dignas fork from which you can admire the beautiful landscape of Val Visdende, from now on it’s all down to the base camp following the old mule track that goes down to cross the road of the Val Visdende huts where it will turn right following the road to the base camp.
FROM VAL VISDENDE TO COLLINA DI FORNI AVOLTRI

From the base camp of Val Visdende, follow the paved road in the direction of the Ristorante da Plenta just before you take the forest road marked by the CAI path 138 in the direction of the Malga Chiastelin which is reached by following the forest road service.
From Malga Chiastelin you follow the path of the mountain huts that, passing through MalgaAntola, reaches Malga Chivon immediately after take the path that goes up to the Passo dell’Oregone. From here you get to the Sesis Pass and then descend along the trail along the beautiful Valle di Fleons to CaseraFleons di Sotto, from where the trail leads to Casera Sissanis in the middle of the woods.
From the casera you take the path that goes up to Passo Sissanis from where you have a wonderful view of Lake Pera and the whole Volaia group. Once you get off at the underlying Lake Pera, take the path towards Passo Giramondo and from here start a long and steep descent towards the Valle di Volaia until Casera Volaier Alm.
A sprint to the casera takes the forest road that goes back to the Lake of Volaia with a view of Monte Coglians and then, arrived at the Lambertenghi – Romanin Refuge along the path 144 which leads to the base camp set up just before the hill country near the campsite.
FROM COLLINA DI FORNI AVOLTI TO BAITA WINKEL

From the base camp of Collina, take the downhill road the previous day to the RifugioTolazzi, a little further on, follow the signs for the RifugioMarinelli and go up the forest road.
When you reach the Marinelli Refuge, you descend from the first path and then through the forest road to the junction with path 146 that you follow up to the Passo di Monte Croce Carnico. From here go up the path 401 to Pal Piccolo and then continue on the same path up to Casera Palgrande di Sopra and from here on the path to the Passo Avostanis.
From the Pass you go down to Lago Avostanis, from where you take the road that descends to Pramosio but shortly after the Casera delle Manze you take the old military road up to Passo Pramosio.
From the pass you go down the path first decided and then gradually up to the Obere Bischof Alm.
At the casera follow the signs for the Zollner Alm and then up to the Zollner See. From here the trail runs along the coast until you descend to the StraningerAlm and then take the forest road that leads to Sella di Cordin. It is always on path 403 that with salts and descents it heads towards the Crete of Aip and the Monte Cavallo passing through the Sella of Val Dolce and from here always in altitude to the Sella di Aip. We are now in the district of Passo Pramollo in view of Mount Madrizze from which we descend following the path on ski slopes and then the forest road to Lake Pramollo and from here for the last 2 km to the Baita Winkel where the camp is set up basis.
FROM BAITA WINKEL TO TARVISIO

From the base camp of BaitaWinkel, follow the road to Passo Pramollo and cross the road take the forest road that goes up to the Gartner Settel from here descend to the Garnizen Alm and then take the path that cuts the ski slopes up to get to a wading stream which starts a forest road that slightly downhill will lead to the Sella della Spalla.
Shortly after you leave the forest road to follow the path that leads to SellaZille and again take the forest road passing through Sella Chersnizze and the homonymous hut goes down to the village of Keserei Egger Alm. From here you follow the forest road on the right that in the direction of the Sella Poludnig leads to Lake Egger Alm in good view and consequently to the village of Dellacher Alm.
At this point you take the asphalt road that climbs to the right towards the PoludnigerAlm but after the first series of hairpin bends when the road begins to open you take a path that goes down into the woods to the left to reconnect to a forest road that follows for a little while until you find a fixed rope that goes down to the creek below.
After having left the creek, take the path that climbs into the forest following the signs for Gortschacher Alm until you cross the forest road that goes up to the village of the same name.
After passing the small village, take the path that climbs first to the Starhand saddle and then descend to the Sella di Lom. From here, take the path through the wood that gradually climbs up to the Sella Bistrica under the Monte Osternig and from here go up the forest road to the Madonna della Neve chapel from where you continue towards SellaPlecia and then the casera village Acomizza.
Just before the casera follow the signs for the Sella di Bartolo that you reach by forest road in pleasant descent and from which you continue first on the path and forest road in the direction of Capin di Ponente for the last climb.
rom the Capin di Ponente, go down the path until you cross the forest road that to the right in the last 5 kilometers, passing through Sella Canton and SellaBorgo, will lead to the finish line of Tarvisio.
